Fake-Sky & grass dark green. Fake-Lines in the river different. Fake- E in Lodge touches tree. This is a quality fake but does not have the white back stitch like the authentic issue.

Fake- 4 white boxes in the bottom row of the shell Fake-Rock is round Fake- Green reed touches W Fake-short neck turtle. On the real issues the back is different.

Fake-arrow is shorter especially on the end. W’s are bigger, closer to the name and the arrow. L in Lodge touches the sunburst. Real-White back stitch over the black embroidery.

Fake-bonnet down from top border. Real-top of the feathers and the word Lodge nearly touch the top border. Real-the bonnet is bigger.When laundered this fake can be difficult to identify.

Real issue shown is the “drop” letter. A variety exists with identical embroidery with the letters straight. Great care was taken to make the 154 fake. Most non fully embroidered fakes have gauze backs. The real 154F doesn’t have a gauze back, nor does the fake. Again, this is another example of working hard to fake it

The blue details in the mountains are more filled in, real has just lines. WWW touches lettering. Fletching on the arrow is different. (larger on real). Birds beard is different. Real has threads letters to top border.

Fake has smaller lettering. Fake doesn’t have a complete arrowhead on the arrow the rabbits holding. Real #193 is almost on the border. The arrowheads are different. When the fake has been laundered it’s one of the most difficult to identify.
