The country was divided into 12 Regions. Most developed insignia for use at the 1950 Jamboree.

By 1950, all Regions had official emblem for wear by Region level Scouters or professionals. These are the region badges in use at the 1950 Jamboree. These were among the most sought after trade items.
trading post bookletThe Jamboree Trading Posts were stocked with almost anything Scouts could want. Uniform parts, badges, neckerchiefs, equipment, etc. Food, ice cream or a cold drink. In addition there were dozens of souvenir items; pillow tops, pennants, plaques, T shirts, post cards, a dairy, a Jamboree ring, souvenir small knives a utility box, a gold coin, buttons, paperweights, etc.

A 1950 official gold coin was available at the Trading posts. Later Jamborees would have coins. Early Jamborees didn’t have bolo ties, belt loops, mugs, cane emblems or other things reproduced later.

The USPS issued a stamp for the Jamboree. There are dozens of First Day covers issued by contingents or individuals. Stamp collecting was a popular hobby. There was a merit badge for Stamp Collecting.
